Most people being in another country and going through all this within hours would be at each others throats... not us we looked at each other and just started laughing!!! God has to be using this for His good somehow. I think the good was that Fred and I were not screaming at each other. If you know us at all if Fred is tired, hungry or has to go potty we are in a fight... LOL! So for us to get through the night and both be alive that is a God thing!!!! We only have 4 throw blankets and 3 single beds so we decided a great idea was to pool our blankets and sleep on one bed and it worked we were warm and made it through the night!
The government electrician came around 2 in the afternoon the next day. He came in, flipped a switch and DONE!!! Everything came back on!
Fred went with one of the missionaries to buy warmer blankets and get more groceries because ours went bad in the night. Fred got ready and went to visit an orphanage (not the institution where our kids live) with the missionaries while I stayed back to wait for the kids to wake up before they went to school. Fred really enjoyed the time he had going to help do crafts with the little kids and he made a fast friends with a little boy named Dema! I hope to be able to go next time for sure!
This is the bed we BOTH slept in... Believe it baby!!!!
We all went to dinner and now we are back in our apartment, can't wait to see what God has for us tomorrow!
It's quite the cozy little bed!!!
