WE GOT IT!!!!!
We got our date!!!! Our SDA appointment is September 5th so that means we will travel the 3rd.... YIKES!!!!!!
Fred always said that when we got our date it would be quick I guess he was right!!!!
Today was all about getting flights arranged and getting people together to nail down child care. (which has been very overwhelming) Next I will be making a list and checking twice?.... No more like a hundred times!!!
Right now I have so many emotions I just don't have time to feel them all out because I leave in 2 weeks!!!! I have been waiting for this for so long and now it's finally happening WOW!!! (So I guess it's kinda like my water breaking right bio-moms?)
A lot of people are asking me: Ok so what's next? How long is the trip? When will you be back?
Here is the best answer I can give, it's not an exact science or anything so this is the guestiment!
We will leave here September 3rd and arrive in Kiev September 4th. September 5th we will have ONE appointment for all 3 kids (Which is a BIG deal for those of you that have not adopted or have only adopted one child at a time, in most cases you must have a different appointment per unrelated child) We will receive a letter of referral allowing us to go into the institution to visit our children and confirm they are the children we want to adopt! There will be a lot of crazy paperwork and then we will get a court date. This will be about 2weeks maybe 3. After court starts the 10 day wait and we will come home for that where last time we stayed. Fred will go back to work and I will relieve our care givers! After a short time home we will return to Ukraine to do a mad rush of final paper work and then we get to spring our kidos FOR GOOD!!!!!!! We will go to Kiev where we will do more crazy paperwork and then we will finally come home!!! (The last trip will be between 10-14days) Again it is not an exact science things come up all the time so we are going to need some serious prayer worriers, we will need strength, wisdom, encouragement, good health and things to just move very smooth. I will have such a hard time being away from home and away from my Rorie & Cole monsters!!!! If I had to guess our new little ones will be home early to mid October so that means I will miss my 30th bday... does that mean it will just wait until next year and I will turn 30 then? Yeah!!!! Sounds good to me!!!!

WOOOOHOOOO!!!!! It's about stinkin' time! It's right when I thought it would be but not sure why they had to wait so long to give it to you. Anyway, SOOO very happy for you!!! :-) I'll be praying for you over the next couple of weeks and of course while you are in country! How in the world did you swing ONE appointment?!? That is HUGE but awesome!

Oh, in case you haven't heard, the medical portion takes a few extra days now due to the kids having to have a TB skin test - just like the one we had to have for a medicals. Takes 2-3 days to read. They are really crackin' down on it now (our gov't rules, not UAs). Just one more thing to pray about. :-)
